Panthers Fall in Findlay

FINDLAY, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan women's basketball team (4-3, 1-1 G-MAC) fell 92-63 to the Findlay Oilers on Saturday.

The Panthers started the game up 8-0 after three-pointers by Myah Montgomery and Iratxe Amorrortu Sainz and a jumper by Riley Neal, but the game unraveled from there.

Findlay (4-3, 1-1 G-MAC) finished the first quarter on a 21-7 run and never looked back, winning the second quarter by six, the third quarter by eight, and the fourth by nine.

Montgomery had another strong day with 15 points, five rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

Emma Bruwer was the only other double-digit scorer for Wesleyan, totaling 11 points, two rebounds, and three steals on the afternoon.

The Panthers next return home to battle Ashland, who received votes in the latest WBCA Division II Coaches Poll after beginning the season in the top 10. Tipoff is set for 5:30 PM inside the Sportscenter on Thursday, December 11.
