Findlay, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan volleyball team was downed 10-25, 10-25, 18-25 by the Oilers of Findlay on Friday.

After Findlay strongly controlled the first two sets, the third set was a battle. The Panthers took an early 7-4 lead after a kill by Kami Parlin, but the Oilers fought back to tie the set at 13. Findlay then went on a 12-5 run to close out the set and match.

Ana De Sevilla-Acosta impressed with a near double-double, logging 18 assists and nine digs to lead the team in both categories.

Havanah John had a team-high six kills, and Parlin was right behind her with five kills on top of five digs. Tessa-Jo Allen recorded two aces.

Wesleyan plays their final road match of the season tomorrow, Saturday, November 8, against the Tiffin Dragons. First serve is set for 12:00 PM and the match will be streamed live on FloCollege.
