Ashland, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan women's basketball team fell to 3-2 (0-1 G-MAC) with a 78-41 defeat to Ashland (8-3, 2-1 G-MAC).
The Eagles controlled the game for the full 40 minutes, winning the first quarter 23-10 and leading wire-to-wire.
Arielle Dabu was the Panthers leading scorer once again, scoring 11 points on 4-5 shooting along with four rebounds.
Emma Bruwer had eight points, her second-most this season, and Carson Sisk continued her strong play with four points, a team-high six rebounds, and two assists.
Ashland had two players with double figures, as Hayley Smith poured in 17 points and 11 rebounds and Zoe Miller had 16 points and 12 rebounds.
The Panthers are back on the road this Monday, December 16, for a 12:00 PM tip against the Malone Pioneers.
