Women's Basketball set to host Hillsdale in G-MAC Quarterfinals

OWENSBORO, KY - After finishing the season winning 15 of their last 16 games, the Kentucky Wesleyan Women's Basketball team marches into the G-MAC quarterfinals with a record of 22-5. The 22 wins are the third most in school history, while their 18 G-MAC wins ties 2018-19 for the most in school history.

Thanks to their historic season, the Panthers are the No. 2 seed in the G-MAC Tournament, only sitting behind national power Ashland, who is currently ranked No. 1 in the country with a record of 28-0.

Kentucky Wesleyan will host the No. 7 seeded Hillsdale Chargers in the opening round, who concluded their regular season with a record of 17-13 (10-10 G-MAC). Game time is set for 12 p.m. CT at the Owensboro Sportscenter. The Panthers are nearly unbeatable at the Sportscenter, holding a 63-5 record on their home court since 2018-19, including an 11-0 record there this year. This record includes a defeat of Hillsdale there this year, where Wesleyan won 70-57 on January 19th.

Tickets for Tuesday will be $10. Tickets will be released and will open up to the public online starting at 6:00pm tonight. Tickets may also be purchased at the gate on gameday starting at 10:30am.
