CEDARVILLE, OH - Despite some great pitching performances, the Kentucky Wesleyan Softball team fell 3-0 and 1-0 to Cedarville on Saturday afternoon.
Wesleyan now falls to 12-32 (5-11 G-MAC) while Cedarville improves to 21-16 (6-10 G-MAC).
Despite holding the Yellowjackets to just four total runs, the Panthers struggled at the plate, managing only five hits over the course of two games.
Mary Morgan was the MVP of game two, allowing just one run in six innings of work while also going 2-for-3 at the plate.
Grace Scott also pitched really well in game one, allowing just three runs in six innings of work while striking out three batters.
Wesleyan looks to right the ship tomorrow when they head to Ohio Dominican for a battle with the G-MAC's other Panthers. First pitch is set for 11 a.m. CT in Columbus, Ohio.
