SALEM, WV - Earlier this season, Kentucky Wesleyan and Salem played in an extremely tight game that saw KWC come out with a one-point victory. A season sweep for the Panthers was not to be, however, as Salem avenged their early season loss by taking down Wesleyan in overtime.

Five minutes into the second half, the Panthers went on an 11-2 run to take 46-42 lead over the Tigers. With the teams going back and forth,
Nathan Boyle put in a three with just nine minutes left in regulation to give Wesleyan a 51-47 lead. Down two with five minutes remaining,
Jordan Roland scored 10 of Wesleyan's final 13 points, including four straight free throws at the end of the game to tie things up and send it to overtime.
KWC struggled in overtime, going just 3-11 from the field in the frame. Salem went 3-6 and hit nine free throws to take the game by six.
Wyatt Battaile led the way with 17 points, including a season high five threes.
Jordan Roland finished with 15 while
