They added another run in the bottom of the second inning to take a 3-0 lead. The Panthers (19-11, 16-6 GMAC) got two runs back in the top of the third with a two-run homerun off the bat of
Ian Ellis.
Trevecca manufactured two runs in the bottom half of the innings to return a three-run lead, 5-2. The Panthers tied the game in the fourth. As the first two batters reached,
Ben Wilcoxson bunted them into scoring position.

Lane Kennemore followed with a walk.
Joseph Burke drove-in another run with a single through the left side. A walk to
Chase Andrews loaded the bases while Ellis added another RBI to his line with a walk.

The Trojans chased
Devin Smith from the game in the seventh when two runners reached with one-out. Those two runs would come around to score, giving TNU a 7-6 lead, but the big blow came later in the frame, a three-run homerun.
