CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan College women's tennis team lost 7-0 to Cedarville on Tuesday afternoon. The Panthers contested mostly all the single matches, but the Yellowjackets came away with the break point.
The Yellowjackets (5-5, 1-2 GMAC) took the double point by winning the number one and number two matches. In singles competition,
Liz Smith was on the wrong end of break points in the number one match, falling 6-2, 6-3.
Jaiden Taylor lost a three-set match with Jessica Spry 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 at number five.
Lesleigh Lowman dropped the number two singles match 6-3, 6-1.
The Panthers will play Brescia on Wednesday afternoon. The match at Moreland Park is scheduled to start at 3 PM.
