CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Kentucky Wesleyan College men's tennis suffered a 7-0 defeat to Cedarville on Tuesday morning. The Yellowjackets utilized their depth to outlast the Panthers at Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.
Single matches were conducted first as
John Thomas Hayden battled in the number one match. Alex Totten broke Hayden in the first set and hung-on 6-4. The match ended in straight sets as Totten won the second set 6-2.
Even Morton and Hayden also lost a contested number one doubles match 6-3. The Yellowjackets (6-5, 1-2 GMAC) won the doubles points after claiming the number two match 7-5 over
Kevin Giron and
Wesley Matthews.
The Panthers will play Brescia on Wednesday afternoon. The match at Moreland Park is scheduled to start at 3 PM.
