TIFFIN, OH - Playing in their final game of the 2021 season, the Kentucky Wesleyan Volleyball team showed a lot of heard in a 3-1 (25-18, 22-25, 25-18, 25-18) loss to Tiffin.
After dropping the opening set, the Panthers rallied late in the second set to take it 25-22. Down 22-21,
Ava Rebarchik both started and finished a four point rally with kills to take the set by three. KWC stayed competitive in the final two sets, but couldn't close them out as the would fall in four.
Lilly Trump led the way with 16 kills, followed by
Diana Wesolosky (13) and
Ava Rebarchik (8).
Julia Kupper (26) and
Carlee Widmer (19) combined for 45 assists.
Danielle Nelson (13), Widmer (12), and Wesolosky (11) each had double digit digs. Trump notched four aces.
Lilly Trump led the team this season with 237 total kills.
Karrah Cron led the team with 501 assists and
Maggie Vincent was tops with 192 digs.
