G-MAC Quarterfinal Preview

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Kentucky Wesleyan College women's basketball team punched their ticket to their fifth G-MAC semifinal where they will face the No. 3 seed University of Findlay Oilers.  Tip off is scheduled for 6:30 pm CT at the No. 1 seed Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio.

Series History
The Oilers hold a 4-3 lead in all-time meetings but the Panthers have won both match ups this past regular season.  Wesleyan prevailed on the road in January by a score of 69-58 before picking up a 79-65 win at home in February.  The two teams have never met in the postseason.
 
The Panthers
Wesleyan defeated the No. 7 seed Tiffin in the quarterfinals earlier this week by a score of 88-70.  Kaylee Clifford, Keelie Lamb and Maddy Boyle each scored in double figures as the Panthers picked up their 34th consecutive win at The Owensboro Sportscenter.

Lamb paces the Panthers with 14.2 points per game while Tahlia Walton also averages double figures at 10.1 points per game.  Clifford leads the way with 5.4 rebounds per game while Lily Skye Grimes has a team-high 132 assists.
 
The Oilers
Findlay is currently riding a seven-game win streak with their last loss coming from the Panthers in early February.  The Oilers posted a 85-75 win over Ohio Dominican in the quarterfinals behind 25 points from Bridget Landin and 21 from Sydney Kim.

Landin and Kim are both averaging double figures on the year at 16.9 and 10.6 respectively.  Amber Schweiger sits at 10.1 points per game along with 121 assists.  Kin also paces the team with 8.4 rebounds per game and 39 blocks on the year.
