OWENSBORO, Ky. - Breanna Alderton of the Kentucky Wesleyan College women's cross country team has earned All Great Midwest Athletic Conference honors following the 2019 Great Midwest Conference Championship on Saturday.

Alderton earned a spot on the All-G-MAC Second Team after an eighth place finish at the G-MAC Championship.  The Owensboro native posted a time of 21:15.0 in the women's 6K race which also set a program record for Kentucky Wesleyan.

The sophomore is the first All-G-MAC selection for the Panthers since Rachel Keeley was named to the Second Team in 2015.

Wesleyan will take next week off before traveling to Evansville, Ind. for the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional hosted by the University of Southern Indiana.
