OWENSBORO, Ky. —
Jordan Jacks notched his sixth double double of the season to help lead the Kentucky Wesleyan College men's basketball team to a convincing 95-76 win over Great Midwest Athletic Conference opponent Davis & Elkins. The Panthers extend their win streak to 13, and the home game win streak stays alive at 40.
Kentucky Wesleyan improves to 15-2 overall and remains unbeaten in the G-MAC at 4-0. The Senators falls to 8-10 overall and suffered their first conference loss of the season (3-1).
Davis & Elkins scored on their second possession of the game to tie the game at two. It would be the only time the game was tied as the Panthers led for the remainder of the game. Kentucky Wesleyan jumped out to a quick 11-4 lead less than four minutes into the game with help from
Ken-Jah Bosley dropping eight points including a pair of threes.
At the 8:51 mark of the first half, Kentucky Wesleyan extended its lead to double digits after
Charles Foster forced a turnover.
Jordan Jacks found Bosley breaking down court, who completed a three point play to put the Panthers up 24-14. Kentucky Wesleyan came close to doubling the Senators' score in the first half, but had to settle for a 43-28 lead at the half.

Happy Osborne's squad came out firing with an impressive 18-0 run to open the second frame. Foster contributed eight points to the run, but the SportsCenter highlight belonged to Jacks who flew through the paint with a dunk after stealing the ball at midcourt.
A pair of free throws from
Malek Harris at 14:37 put the Panthers ahead by 34, their largest lead of the game. Kentucky Wesleyan scored 11 points off of turnovers in the second half alone to cruise to the 95-76 victory.
Jacks led all scorers with 22 points and 11 rebounds, seven of which were defensive. The senior also tabbed three steals and three assists. Harris finished with 19 points and shot 9-for-10 from the free throw line. Bosley tabbed 19 points while Foster contributed 16 points and seven rebounds. Foster led all players with a season-high five steals.
The Panthers scored 34 points off of 23 Senator turn overs. Kentucky Wesleyan outscored Davis & Elkins 56-42 in the paints, while Davis & Elkins' bench held the advantage in points, 23-18.
The Battlers of Alderson Broaddus defeated Trevecca Nazarene on Thursday night to remain unbeaten in G-MAC play. Kentucky Wesleyan will host Alderson Broaddus on Saturday with tip off set for 3 pm.
