Kentucky Wesleyan drew its second tie of the season, after their Great Midwest Athletic Conference matchup with Cedarville on Thursday afternoon ended in a 3-3 tie. The match was played in Louisville, and was hosted by Bellarmine. With the tie, Kentucky Wesleyan is now (2-4-2, 2-2-2 G-MAC) on the season.

The Panthers fell behind in the first half after Cedarville scored the first goal in the 31st minute of action. The goal was scored off a rebound after Taylor Rentchler deflected the previous shot attempt. KWC would even things up moments later, as Breigh Haase scored her first goal of the year off a shot from 20 yards out. The match remained tied at 1-1 at halftime.

In the second half, the Panthers would score the go-ahead goal off a header from Madison Haycraft. Haycraft scored her first goal of the year off a corner kick. Haase also provided the assist.

The Yellow Jackets wouldn't go away though, and tied the match back up two minutes later off of a shot from 15 yards away. Cedarville would momentarily take the lead at 3-2 in the in the 67th minute on a goal scored inside the box.

Haase notched her second goal of the match in the 78th minute to even the score at 3-3. Neither team was able to break even from that point on, as the KWC went into their second straight overtime match.

In the first overtime period, Breigh Haase took three shots, two of which were on-goal, but the Panthers failed to score. Once the second overtime began, the Panthers yet again had multiple opportunities to get the win. Haase and Kamryn Pulliam both had good looks at the goal, but their shots were saved.

The Panthers finished with a season-high 26 shots, with 15 shots on-goal. Breigh Haase and Kamryn Pulliam both tallied career-highs in shots taken and shots on-goal. Haase collected nine shots and Pulliam registered seven. Taylor Rentchler produced six saves.

Kentucky Wesleyan will return to action on Saturday afternoon at home against Trevecca Nazarene at Panther Field. The match is set to begin at noon.
