Kentucky Wesleyan swept a doubleheader at Salem, WVa., on Saturday morning as they blanked host Salem Internatiional and West Virginia Wesleyana 3-0 in both contests. The Panthers have won three straight to forge a 5-5 record.
In the opener,
Julia Moran led the Panthers with 11 kills and
Audrey Baysinger added 10 in their 25-20, 25-12 and 25-16 match.
Gabrielle Gallois also produced seven.
Kylie Foster registered a game-high 20 assists and
Courtney Gildea had eight.
Nicole Venema recorded 20 digs to lead the defense and Foster collected 12.
Against WVWC,
Sierra Morrow posted a game-high 15 kills and Gallois contributed 10. Foster totaled 21 assists and Gildea delievered 18. Venema picked up a match-high 16 digs.
Kentucky Wesleyan travels to Ohio for Great Midwest Athletic Conference action to play Malone on Friday, Sept 23 and Ursuline on Saturday, Sept. 24.
