Kentucky Wesleyan will hit the road for two weekend matches on Saturday against Salem International and West Virginia Wesleyan at 8 a.m. CT and noon CT. Both matches will be played a T. Edward Davis Gymnasium on the campus of Salem International.
The Panthers will enter Saturday with a 3-5 overall record. KWC is coming off of a five-set victory over Brescia on Tuesday evening.
Coach Eric Hagan discussed the five-set win. "We're still a young team. We are continuing to make young and inexperienced mistakes. We played well enough to win the first two sets, and then we had to re-group after dropping the next two sets. We finally got back to playing volleyball in the fifth set. Overall it was a good night for us, and I think we showed some character.
Hagan also gave his outlook on the Panthers' two matches on Saturday. "I'm looking forward to both of those matches. We had a chance to watch Salem International last weekend at our tournament, and we know what to expect. If we come out and play I like our chances this weekend."
Live coverage will be available this weekend.
