Crystal Hopkins swept the throwing events and the women 4x200 relay team won first place at the DePauw Tiger Small College Indoor Invitational as the Panthers shattered 10 Kentucky Wesleyan indoor records on Friday night in Greencastle, Ind.
The women finished fourth of eight teams and the men were sixth among eight.
Hopkins, a junior thrower from Mt. Vernon, NY (Woodlands HS), tossed a KWC record 13.55m in the shot put and threw 14.34m in the weight throw in winning both events.
The women won the 4x200 relay with
Aneya Hardin,
Sydney Goff,
Teairra Payton and
Breigh Haase setting a KWC record 1:48.58.
Earning second place were
James Glenn in the 60m dash with a 7.07;
Rachel Keeley in the 3000m with a 11:02.08; and
Bryant Qualls in the 800m with a 2:03.13. The Panthers also had seven ended up third.

The Panthers next outing will be Feb. 19 at the Eastern Illinois Friday Night Special in Charleston.
