Bosley’s career night paces Panthers past Kentucky State in 120-81 rout

Ken-Jah Bosley couldn't miss from anywhere on Tuesday night at the Sportscenter. The senior guard totaled 39 points in the Panthers' blowout victory over Kentucky State, 120-81. Bosley finished shooting 11-12 (92 percent) from the floor, and knocked down every single three-point attempt he took (8-8). He also nailed all nine of his free throws in the contest.

The only shot he missed throughout the night was a contested layup. Bosley finished with five assists and three steals as well.

How it happened
It wasn't as easy as the final score or box score indicated. The Panthers got off to a slow start and trailed early 11-3. Sam Williams came off the bench and scored eight straight points to tie the game at 11.

Kentucky Wesleyan would go on a 21-8 run to lead 24-19 halfway through the first. The Panthers only led 46-40 at halftime.

In the second half, KWC exploded for 74 points. It started immediately with an 11-2 run, which saw Jordan Jacks convert back-to-back slam dunks, and Bosley drilled a transition three.

KWC paced a 34-19 run to blow the game completely open at 94-61. During that run, Bosley scored 13 consecutive points, nailing four three-pointers, and a free throw.

Kentucky Wesleyan forced KSU into committing 24 turnovers. The Panthers totaled 43 points off turnovers, 46 points in the paint, and scored 28 fast break points.
 
Inside the box score
Jordan Jacks recorded his second double-double of the year after scoring 19 points and collecting a team-high 12 rebounds. Jacks also dished out four assists.

Adam Stanford scored a career-high 16 points, while Charles Foster played his best game so far in a KWC uniform. The senior point guard posted 14 points, five assists, and two steals.

Sam Williams played a major role in the Panthers' early runs in the first half to open the lead, as he finished with 14 points on 6-9 shooting.

Every Panther who saw action on the floor scored, including Hunter Noffsinger, who scored four points in his first game.

KWC shot 66 percent from the floor, a KWC single-game best. The Panthers shot 72 percent in the second half.
 
Next up
The Panthers host the Hampton Inn Thanksgiving Tournament at the Sportscenter on Friday and Saturday. KWC will first play Winona State on Friday at 3:15 p.m.
