Kentucky Wesleyan will play at Ohio Valley and Cedarville in their final two conference matches of the regular season. The Panthers are most recently coming off of a five-set victory at home over Alderson Broaddus. KWC holds an overall record of 9-12, (3-4 G-MAC).
Kentucky Wesleyan's first match is Friday night at Ohio Valley at 6 p.m. CT. The Panthers defeated the Fighting Scots in straight sets in their first meeting at Jones Gym earlier in the season. OVU is currently 5-20 on the year, is winless in conference play.
The Panthers second match of the road trip is at Cedarville on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. CT. The Panthers lost in straight sets back in September at home. The Yellow Jackets are 17-7, (4-1 G-MAC) this season, and have the second best record in the conference behind Trevecca Nazarene.
KWC as a team averages 11 kills per set. Five Panthers have tallied over 100 kills on the season, with Audrey Baysinger holding a team-high 156 kills so far.
Freshman Sierra Morrow leads the Panthers up front at the net in the blocking category. She has produced 46 total blocks this season. Kentucky Wesleyan has notched 95 blocks altogether as a team. Nicole Venema averages over four digs per set, and has registered 335 digs over 21 matches.
