Kentucky Wesleyan spilt two volleyball matches in Louisville on Saturday evening.

The nightcap saw the Panthers defeat host Bellarmine 3-2 by winning the first, third and fifth matches (25-22, 16-25, 27-17, 13-25, 15-12) to earn their first win of the season.

Nikki Jenkins led the offense with 12 kills.
Elizabeth Gober and
Gabrielle Gallois both added nine, and
Mallory Sacre and
Elizabeth Zuber chipped in eight.

Courtney Gildea handed out 21 assists and
Sarah Swenson had 17.

Nicole Venema led the defense with 22 digs and Gildea recorded 10. Gallois, Sacre and Zuber also produced three block assists.

In the first contest, Quincy defeated the Panthers 3-1 (16-25, 25-22, 14-25, 18-25).

Jenkins collected 13 kills and Gober added 10 kills plus three block assists and two aces. Swenson recorded 16 assists and
Courtney Gildea gathered 15 assists to the offense.

Autumn Harris led the defense with four block assists. Â
Nicole Venema provided 22 digs and Gildea had 10 digs.
