Kaci Ovelgoenner came across the plate on a
Ashley Crooke RBI hit for the final tally.
The closing contest saw the Senators hold the Panthers nearly hitless until the bottom of the sixth when
Samantha Marksbury's RBI scored
Mackenzie Weedman for the game winner.
Casey Smith (11-5) threw seven innings. She had five strikeouts, one walk and allowed seven hits.
The Panthers (25-13, 14-6 Great Midwest Athletic Conference) will play at the G-MAC Championship in Xenia, Ohio, on April 30 through May 2. Pairing will be announced Sunday evening.
