Box Score 2 After winning their first G-MAC game against Trevecca on Tuesday, Kentucky Wesleyan softball looked to take the season series from the Trojans at Foster Field.
Unfortunately, KWC was only able to muster six hits combined in the two contests, dropping the first game 7-0 and the second contest 9-1 in six innings.Â
Kaci Ovelgoenner's blast in the first inning of the second game was the lone run for the Panthers.
Josalyn Ress and
Casey Smith both threw complete games for the Panthers, picking up the losses.
Next up for KWC is a trip to Cedarville this weekend for three important G-MAC games. First pitch of Friday's doubleheader is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT.
