Box Score
Jennifer Walker-Crawford's third double-double of the season led Kentucky Wesleyan women's basketball to the century mark tonight over Alderson Broaddus.

Walker-Crawford's 19 points and 11 rebounds led four Panthers in double figures as KWC posted a season high 61 second half points en route to a 100-79 win over AB (7-17, 4-10).  The win improved KWC to 15-8 overall and 10-3 in Great Midwest Athletic Conference play.

AB grabbed the early lead with a three-pointer, then KWC responded with a 4-0 run on a pair of Erin Dorn free throws and a Walker-Crawford layup.  A Dorn three with 17:55 left in the first half made it 7-3 before AB responded to cut it to 7-5.

With 17:19 left in the half, Bria Wright scored a layup to make it 9-5.  Wright would make two more free throws to stretch the lead to 11-5, before a 4-0 AB run made it 11-9 with 15:25 left in the half.

The Panthers would stretch the lead out to 21-12 with 8:58 left in the half before AB would go on a run to take a 25-21 lead with 6:28 left.  KWC would fight back to tie it and the two teams would trade baskets the rest of the half and the Panthers would take a 39-38 lead into halftime.

AB came out firing in the second half, opening the half on a 10-4 run to take a 48-43 lead with 18:04 left.  The Panthers would respond with a run, taking the lead for good at 49-48 on a layup by Sydney Morabito with 16:19 left in the game.

The Panthers would see their lead stretch to as many as 24 (94-70) in the second half and they closed out the game with two Jill Jones free throws to put them right at the century mark of 100-79.

In addition to Walker-Crawford's 19 and 11, Wright filled up the stat sheet with 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists.  Brittany Wells also finished in double figures with 13 points and Morabito added a career high 12.

The Panthers grabbed 51 rebounds, their third 50 rebound game this season.  KWC returns to the court on Saturday against Davis & Elkins.  Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 CT.
