Coach
Eric Hagan on the team's past three wins, "I was very happy and proud of the way we played against Oakland City. The effort and energy on the bench and on the court was great to see. We also had that against Kentucky State and Brescia, and it was nice to get a couple of home wins under our belt."
Nikki Jenkins leads the Panthers on the year with 212 kills.
Nicole Venema has registered 263 digs,
Courtney Gildea has logged 302 assists, and
Gabrielle Gallois has posted a team-high 38 blocks throughout the progression of the season. She also leads the Panthers with 19 service aces.
Autumn Harris has tallied 32 block-assists too. In the past four matches, the Panthers have won by a landslide of twelve sets to three. Kentucky Wesleyan will play G-MAC opponents in their final six out of seven matches remaining.
"Our confidence is just on another level right now," Hagan stated. "Even though we haven't won a conference match, the girls are still very motivated. This is a huge weekend for us. The determination is there, and we are just trying to stay focused to the job at hand. These next few conference matches for us are going to be absolutely huge."
Friday's match has been designated as a Breast Cancer Awareness match. The match will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday's match against Cedarville will start at 11:30 a.m.
