Kentucky Wesleyan will play their first G-MAC volleyball matches of the year on the road against Cedarville and Ursuline this weekend.
The Panthers are coming off their first win of the season, where they defeated Bellarmine in five sets last weekend.
"We saw a lot of improvement from over the weekend. Everything is starting to move itself into place. We carried that over into Bellarmine and we were able to pull it out" Coach
Eric Hagan said.
Hagan on his team's confidence going into this weekend, "Our coaching staff is confident; our players have been practicing well. We like what we are seeing. We are starting to see good energy from kids we haven't seen this season."
Cedarville is 7-8 on the year, and are coming off a victory over Southern Indiana.
The next match features Ursuline, who is 5-11 on the season.
"We had a tough non-conference schedule. I think that it has ultimately prepared us for conference play" Hagan said.
The match times are 6 CT on Friday, and noon CT on Saturday.
