Addie Reimbold, a 5-foot-9 honorable mention all-state forward at Bishop Luers High School in Fort Wayne, Ind., has signed a national letter-of-intent to play basketball at Kentucky Wesleyan College, as announced by KWC co-head women's coaches Caleb and Nicole Nieman.

Reimbold, a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter, led the Knights in scoring (11.9), rebounds (8.9), steals (3.0), field goal shooting (50.7) and finished second in minutes played (25.2) in 21 games played as a senior in 2013-14. She also shot 28.6 percent from three-point range and 64.9 percent from the free throw line for head coach Denny Renier.

"Addie is so athletic," Nieman's stated. ""Addie can score at the rim from inside and out. She is able to be versatile by her quickness inside to her strength on the perimeter.

"She can defend anyone, from guards to posts, and is able to rebound amongst players who are bigger than she is. She does all the little things that every team needs.

"Addie is another player that will enhance our program as a student and as an athlete. She is diligent in her studies and wants to perform at a high-level in the classroom as well as on the court."

As a junior, the two-time co-captain averaged 9.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.1 steals, 1.8 assists and 23.0 minutes in 18 games while shooting 40.8 percent from the field, 27.3 percent from three-point territory and 64.9 percent from the foul line. Reimbold helped the team to the state semifinals where she was named Most Valuable Player.

She also was a two-time second team all-state selection in soccer. Her other honors include 2013 Summit Athletic Conference Player of the Year, three-time All-Summit Athletic Conference and all-district honoree. Reimbold also was named Knights Most Valuable Player. She helped her team to two semi-state runner-up finishes.

In the classroom, she ranked No. 6 in her class with a 4.299 grade point average while achieving High Honors every quarter for four consecutive years.

Her parents are John and Beth Reimbold of Fort Wayne.
