Andrew Moralez threw a two-hitter in the Panther's 10-1 victory over the Mighty Oaks. He threw six innings, fanned four batters and walked one to earn his fourth win in seven outings.
Nathan Hedgepath went three-for-three at the plate including a double and triple while driving in two runs and scoring four. Jonathan Eberhardt was three-for-four with a double and produced two RBIs.
Matt Pobereyko closed the game pitching the final frame and producing two strikeouts in three at bats.
The nightcap saw
Matt Lasley pitch a three-hit shutout in KWC's 4-0 victory. He went the distance by throwing seven innings with four strikeouts and two walks in facing 26 batters.
Mark Hagedorn hit a solo home run and drove in another run.
Seth Sharp added a double. Hedgepath had two hits as eight Panthers each recorded one hit for a total of nine.
KWC (22-11) hosts Oakland City again in a doubleheader on Saturday at noon.
