In the nightcap, the Panthers slowly built a 2-0 advantage after four innings and never looked back.

Mark Hagedorn followed in the fourth by hitting a solo home run to left field in the fourth. The Yellow Jackets came away with one in the fifth.
Hellmueller added to KWC's tally by scoring on a throwing error in the fifth. Cedarville then added two runs in the seventh to tie the game at 3-3.
Hegepath hit a single to left field to bring Hellmueller across the plate and
Dennon Koziol scored on a fielding error in seventh to extend the lead to 5-3. In the eighth, Emig scored on a balk for the Panther's final run. Cedarville (15-11, 1-3 G-MAC) added one more in the ninth
Aussie Light (2-2) earned the win by throwing eight innings and 12 strikeouts while only giving up two walks in facing 34 batters. Boswell earned his second straight save of the day and his seventh of the season as he tossed two strikeouts in the ninth.
KWC (13-8, 3-1 G-MAC) will play a four-game series at Alderson Broaddus on Saturday and Sunday.
