Kentucky Wesleyan split with host Limestone by winning the first contest, 3-1, and falling, 9-2, on Sunday afternoon in Gaffney, SC.
For the second straight day the Panthers jumped on the Saints with two in the top of the first inning when 
Mark Hagedorn hit an RBI single to bring 
Connor Petschke home followed by 
Josh Vance's RBI single scoring 
Dennon Koziol. Koziol had the only double of the game.
Neither team scored for the next five innings.
Nolan Ray started the seventh with his first home run of the season for KWC's final tally. Limestone added one in the bottom of the seventh on an RBI single.
Aussie Light picked up his first win by throwing six and two-thirds innings where he fanned eight, walked one and gave up six hits. 
Noah Boswell received his second save in two days.
In the second contest, Limestone started with a 1-0 lead on an RBI single after the first inning. They came back in the third with a three-run homer.
KWC got on the scoreboard with two runs in the fourth on a two-run double by 
Reid Walker to score Hagedorn and Koziol as they closed the gap to 4-2. The Saints added their fifth score in the bottom of the fourth on a RBI double.
Limestone (3-9) added four in the sixth for the 9-4 final.
Seth Sharp collected two hits in three plate appearances for the the Panthers.
Kaleb Moore received the loss in three innings pitched. He had one strikeout, two walks and allowed five hits. 
Austin Tibbs came in relief with two innings including one strikeout and 
Jordan Collier wrapped the final inning.
The Panthers (3-1) host Northwood next Saturday and Sunday at Panther Park. Both doubleheaders start at noon CT.
