Box Score A pair of double-doubles and double digit kills from four players were not enough to help Kentucky Wesleyan volleyball improve its standing in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference standings.
Summer Alford and
Sarah Swenson both had double-doubles, while
Rae Garvison,
Chelsea Brothers and
Nikki Jenkins all had double digit kills. Despite those numbers, KWC was defeated by Ohio Valley today 3-1 (21-25, 25-27, 25-17, 25-27) to fall to 13-12 on the year and 6-4 in G-MAC play.
Alford finished with 10 kills and a co-team leading 20 digs, while Swenson had 48 assists and 14 digs. Brothers posted a season best 16 kills, Jenkins finished with 12 and Garvison posted 11.Â
Hannah Hudnall had 20 digs as well for the Panthers.
KWC returns to the court on Nov. 7 against cross town rival Brescia at Jones Gym. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
