Alford's double-double guides KWC to win over Trevecca

Box Score
A double-double from Summer Alford was more than enough for Kentucky Wesleyan volleyball to beat Trevecca this evening on the road.

Alford finished the night with 12 kills and 10 digs as KWC beat Trevecca 3-1 (25-18, 25-19, 25-21, 26-24).  Dallas Zimmerman also finished with double digit kills, registering 10 and Hannah Hudnall posted 17 assists.

"It was a good conference win in a very hostile environment," said head coach Eric Hagan.  "(I was) very proud of our fight, especially in the fourth set."

Morgan Switalla added 30 assists for the Panthers and Courtney Gildea also registed 13 assists in the win, which improved KWC's record to 7-6 overall and 2-1 in the G-MAC.

The Panthers return to the court on Friday night for a home match with Davis & Elkins.
