Box Score After a tough loss in a rematch of last year's Great Midwest Athletic Conference championship match, Kentucky Wesleyan volleyball rebounded with a dominant performance.
KWC beat Central State by scores of 25-10, 25-10 and 25-11 to get their first G-MAC win of the year.
"We were a little more focused in this match," said head coach
Eric Hagan. "Got a lot of players in and worked on some areas we struggled with against Cedarville. We will get back to work for Tuesday's match at Trevecca. Each match is so important in conference."
Dallas Zimmerman led the Panthers with 11 kills and
Gabrielle Gallois had 10.Â
Morgan Switalla and
Courtney Gildea finished with 17 and 15 assists respectively, and Switalla also led the team in digs with six.
The Panthers (6-6) finished the game with a.378 hitting percentage and 51 services aces, of which Switalla had 14 and Zimmerman had 11.
KWC returns to the court on Tuesday night when they travel to Nashville to take on Trevecca.
