Panthers dominate Central State for second time

In a rematch from 20 days ago, Kentucky Wesleyan volleyball played Central State tonight.

KWC came out strong, winning the first set 25-5 and finishing the sweep with scores of 25-11 and 25-12 to improve to 11-10 on the season.

"The girls played with energy and heart," said coach Eric Hagan.  "They stayed up the whole match with each new lineup we threw at them."

Dallas Zimmerman led the way for the Panthers with 11 kills and Courtney Gildea had 10 assists to lead the squad.  No one on KWC had more than Hannah Hudnall's five digs.

With the victory, the Panthers move one step closer to getting into the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament and keep Central State winless at 0-12.

KWC returns to the court tomorrow with a trip to Cedarville, Ohio to take on Cedarville.  Match time is set for noon.
