A tie in the last game against Trevecca slipped Kentucky Wesleyan women's soccer to fourth place in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
"This was a really important game for us," said head coach
Jamie Duvall. "It was a game that we needed to win. We played hard and we did what we thought we needed to do. Even though we can't get the number one seed, we have put ourselves in a good position to host a home playoff game."
