Box Score 2 Playing on a Sunday for the first time all year, Kentucky Wesleyan traveled to face former GLVC foes Illinois-Springfield and McKendree in a tri-match.
Match one – UIS 3, KWC 0KWC was swept in the first match, losing by scores of 18-25, 20-25 and 22-25.Â
Sarah Swenson led the way with 33 assists,
Hannah Hudnall had 19 digs and
Dallas Zimmerman posted nine kills in the defeat.
Match two – McKendree 3, KWC 0The Panthers had a harder time in match number two, falling by scores of 17-25, 13-25 and 18-25.Â
Summer Alford led the team with six kills, Swenson had 22 assists and Hudnall finished with 12 digs.
KWC returns to the court on Tuesday when they travel to New Albany, Ind. for a match with Indiana-Southeast.
