Patrick Hibbs shot a three-under 68 to lead Kentucky Wesleyan to victory over Brescia and Oakland City on Thursday at the par-71 Ben Hawes Golf Course.
Patrick Schrimer finished second to Hibbs with a two-under 69.
Dustin Hicks recorded a 72 for fourth.
Logan Ferguson posted an 80 and
Heath Williams rounded out with an 81 for the Panthers 289.
Brescia's Tyler Lyon collected an even par 71 for third place as the Bearcats finished second with a 293. Chase Carrico, Will McKenzie and Hayden Young all tied for a fifth-best 74. Alex Knight had a 75.
Oakland City posted a 310 for third. Alex Manion also tied for a fifth-best 74 followed by Logan Mohr's 77, Miquel Laroque's 78, Garth Feeney's 81 and Tim Crowe's 91.
The KWC B team finished fourth with a 317. Stuart Angus led with a 77 followed by
Connor Thompson's 78,
John Shelman's 79,
Shea Sharkey's 83,
Sam Key's 85 and
Jordan Gary's 91.
The Brescia B team completed the course with a fifth place 331. Evan Fiscus collected a 80 followed by Corey Lampley's 82, Greg Collins' 83, Eddie Bickerstaff's 86 and Jacob Bertke's 89.
The Panthers travel to Chicago to compete in the Midwest Regional #1 on Sept. 29 and 30.
