Patrick Schirmer shot a fourth-best one-under 71 to lead Kentucky Wesleyan to a third place finish with a 304 at the Jim English Invitational, hosted by Centre, in Danville, Ky. on Thursday.

Patrick Hibbs recorded a ninth-best 72 followed by Sam Key's 80, Connor Thompson's 81 and Shea Sharkey's 81.

Spalding won the Invitational with a 291 and Centre's John Minton captured medalist honors with a four-under 68. Eight teams and 55 student-athletes participated in the Invitational at the par-72 Danville Country Club course.
