Kentucky Wesleyan lost to visiting Bellarmine, 6-1 and 9-1, in a Great Lakes Valley Conference doubleheader at Panther Park on Saturday.
 
The Knights jumped out to 6-0 lead before KWC responded in the seventh.
 
Nolan Ray hit a RBI double in the seventh to bring Aussie Light across the plate for the Panthers only score to settle on the 6-1 loss.
 
Ray Delvalle and Ray each led with two hits apiece. KWC had 10 hits compared to six for BU.
 
Andrew Moralez received the loss where he allowed five hits, two earned runs, two walks and struck out three. Kaleb Moore threw five inning of relief with three strikeouts and Wes Ward pitched the final inning.
 
In the night cap, Bellarmine scored five runs on three straight errors by the Panthers in the top of the first inning. The Knights added four more in the fifth for the 9-1.
 
Five different Panthers each had one hit. KWC produced five hits to BU's nine.
 
Jon Wandling received the loss. He pitched four innings allowing seven hits, three earned runs, four walks and striking out three. Tyler Emberton came in relief for the final three innings were he had two hits, one run, five walks and three strikeouts.
 
The Panthers (14-28, 8-22 GLVC) host Bellarmine at noon on Sunday for the final home doubleheader of the season.
