Michigan Tech connected on 15 three-pointers to defeat Kentucky Wesleyan 79-67 in the NCAA Women's Basketball Midwest Region Quarterfinals at Ashland, Ohio on Friday night.

Lauren Goffinet led the Panthers with 23 points to become the 16th player in KWC women's history to surpass the 1,000 point mark. She finishes with 1,003. Karly Rhoads added 16.

The Panthers close the season with a 20-9 record.
