Lauren Goffinet scored a game-high 15 points and Bianca Barton added 12 in Kentucky Wesleyan's 60-49 triumph over visiting Bellarmine in Great Lakes Valley Conference play on Saturday night at the Sportscenter.
 
The win breaks the KWC season record for most league victories with 13 surpassing 12 set in 1992. It also marked a season sweep over the Knights, the first since 1981, as the Panthers captured the first meeting 71-63 in Louisville on Feb. 2.

They also clinched a bye in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship Tournament.
 
The Knights (18-10, 8-9) opened the first 20 seconds with their only lead at 2-0 before KWC took control to race out to a 10-point advantage with 9:09 left before settling on a 25-20 halftime lead.
 
The second half saw the Panthers extending the lead into double-digits at the 12:10 mark as they slowly build their biggest margin at 17 with 4:54 left.  
 
KWC's defense forced BU into 24 turnovers as they collected 11 steals. The Panthers outscored the foes 36-to-18 in the paint and 10-to-two on second chance points.
 
Kourtney Rhoads contibuted nine points. T'Essence Phelps grabbed six rebounds and gathered three steals. Kailyn Mitchell had five rebounds. Barton also produced three assists, three steals and one block
 
The Panthers (18-7, 13-4) play at Southern Indiana on Thursday at 5:15 in the regular season finale.
