Coming off of a tough five set win the night before the KWC volleyball team swept G-MAC opponent Ohio Valley on Saturday afternoon to improve to 20-6 overall and 9-2 in conference play.
The Panthers opened the match going ahead 7-1 with sophomore
Dallas Zimmerman posting two kills and a block assist during the run. KWC's largest lead of the set came at 21-13 on a service ace by sophomore
Nikki Jenkins. The Panthers took the first set 25-18.
In the second game the Panthers used an 8-0 run to build a 15-7 lead with junior
Chelsea Brothers recording four kills during that stretch. Ohio Valley pulled within three at 20-17, but the Panthers didn't allow the Fighting Scots to get any closer winning the set 25-19.
The score was close for much of the third set with neither team going ahead by more than three points, Brothers posted the final kill of the game to give KWC the 25-22 victory.

Summer Alford each recorded 13 kills, while Alford also posted three block assists. Junior
Bridget Johnson posted two service aces in the win. Senior
Jordan Rickert tallied 40 assists and junior
Hannah Hudnall had a team high 15 digs.
KWC finished with a .236 attacking percentage, four service aces and four blocks.
The Panthers close out non-conference play on Tuesday, Nov. 5 against Brescia at 7 p.m. at home.
