Kentucky Wesleyan lost to Wisconsin-Parkside 67-57 in Great Lakes Valley Conference action at Somers, Wis., on Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers came back from a 10-point deficit, 16-6, with 11:47 left in the opening half.
KWC then went on a 17-4 run to take the lead at 23-20 at the 4:51 mark.
The Rangers tied the contest in the final 35 seconds at 31-all at the intermission.
UWP (11-6, 5-4) slowly moved out to an 11-point advantage and never looked back as the Rangers shot 59 percent from the field in the final period.
T'Essence Phelps led KWC with a game-high 18 points and
Bianca Barton chipped in 13.
Kaily Mitchell grabbed eight rebounds plus four points and
Lauren Goffinet had five boards and seven points.
KWC shot 40 percent from the field compared to UWP's 51. The Rangers also won the battle of the boards 35-27.
The Panthers (10-6, 6-3) host GLVC newcomer McKendree on Thursday at 5:15.
