T'Essence Phelps led Kentucky Wesleyan with 17 points and six rebounds as the Panthers cruised to a 65-48 Great Lakes Valley Conference win on Saturday afternoon at the Sportscenter.
Phelps shot six-of-eight from the field and five-of-six from the free throw line and collected two steals in 22 minutes.
Kourtney Rhoads added 15 points including three three-pointers as 10 of 12 players scored.
Karly Rhodes and
Kailyn Mitchell both came off the bench to collect five boards a piece for KWC.
Bianca Barton issued five assists.
The Panthers ahead 24-20 with 5:47 left went on to a 13-0 run to settle on a 33-20 halftime advantage. After halftime, the Panthers pushed out to a 19-point with 6:21 remaining in the contest.
KWC shot 43 percent from the field while holding the Pumas to 35 percent including 17 percent from three-point (2-12) and forced the visitors to 26 turnovers.
Kiki Wilson led Saint Joseph's (1-13, 0-6 GLVC) with 18 points.
The Panthers (9-4, 5-1) host arch-rival Southern Indiana (13-1, 5-1) on Monday at 5:15. Both teams at tied for first in the East Division.
