The Kentucky Wesleyan women's baskertball team trailed by juist two at halftime and held a two-point lead five minutes into the second half, but ended up falling to Quiincy, 65-58, on Thursday to suffer their first Great Lakes Valley Conference loss of the season.

The Lady Panthers (6-4, 2-1) got 11 points a piece from Lauren Goffinet and Kourtney Rhoads. Goffinet also finished with 11 rebounds.

KWC was held to just 35 percent shooting from the field and was outrebounded, 46-45.
