Kentucky Wesleyan earned their first Great Lakes Valley Conference volleyball win of the season by defeating host Saint Joseph's 3-1 (25-18, 25-23, 14-25 and 25-22) in Rensselaer, Ind., on Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers were led by
Nikki Jenkins with 11 kills and
MaryBeth Ryan with 10 for a team total of 53 compared to the Pumas' 38. Jenkins and Ryan also had two blocks
Linda Albrecht posted a match and season-highs of 45 assists.
Jordan Rickert recorded three aces and
Sarah Pedigo had two. Defensively,
Morgan Watson collected a match-high 21 digs.
KWC (5-12, 1-6) host Illinois-Springfield next Saturday at 5 p.m.
