Kentucky Wesleyan lost to visiting Urbana on Saturday afternoon in Great Lakes Valley Conference action at Steele Stadium.

The Blue Knights jumped out to a 24-0 lead in the first quarter to finish with a 74-0 win.

Panther quarterback Will Barnes completed 19 of 36 passes for 117 yards and Brett Leary rushed for 44 yards on 19 carries. Shawn Mooney caught five passes for 41 yards.

Matt Smith collected 10 tackles and Kevin Farris had an interception.

KWC (1-5) steps out of league play as they host Lindenwood-Belleville next Saturday at 1 p.m.
