KWC opens 2012 with win over Oaks

Karly Rhoads scored 13 points and Kristen Rowe added and Kentucky Wesleyan opened the new year with a 62-47 victory over Oakland City College on Monday in Oakland City, Ind.

Eleven Panthers reached the scoring column as KWC built on a 28-20 halftime lead in the second period.

Rowe had eight rebounds for the Panthers. Rachel Moore had 10 points for the Mighty Oaks.

KWC will host Drury on Thursday at 5:15.
