Panthers fall to Northern Kentucky 64-51

Tiara Hopper led a balanced attack with 14 points to lift the Norse over the Panthers in a Great Lakes Valley Conference game at Highland Heights.

Northern Kentucky (14-4, 7-1 GLVC) limited Kentucky Wesleyan to just 32 percent shooting, including 1-of-13 from 3-point range.

NKU also dominated the glass, outrebounding the Panthers (12-6, 6-4) by a 47-30 margin. Norse forward Sadie Bowling secured a game-best 18 rebounds.

KWC was led by Neika Smith, who had 13 points, three assists and three steals. Kristen Rowe added 11 points.

Northern Kentucky also got 10 points and four assists from Bowling.
