Kentucky Wesleyan opened the 2011-12 tennis season by squeaking by visiting Rose-Hulman at KWC Courts on Sunday afternoon.

Macey Hallstedt defeated Melissa Montgomery in No. 2 singles, 6-2 and 6-1. Maddy Bogle swept Colleen Stevenson at No. 3, 6-1, 6-3. Jamie Brown won the No. 6 singles with a 6-3, 6-2 over Manasa Punugu.

Hallstadt and Bogle capture No. 2 doubles over Paige Cook and Marie Stettler, 8-5. Hannah Butcher and Danielle Hadler took No. 3 doubles, 9-8, 10-5.
