The Kentucky Wesleyan College baseball team split a doubleheader against homestanding Indianapolis on Sunday at Greyhound Park.

The Panthers bounced back from an 8-0 loss in the opener to beat the Greyhounds 4-2.

KWC (16-21, 10-16 Great Lakes Valley Conference) scored three runs in the top of the seventh to win the nightcap and capitalize on a complete game by Brandon Robinette, who scattered five hits.

The Panthers' offense was a team effort, with no player having more than one of the squad's eight hits. Jordan White had two runs batted in.


In the opener, the Panthers were shut out despite collecting 10 hits. Luke Garmon went 3-for-5, and Ray Delvalle went 2-for-4. Mitch Kellum, who worked five innings, took the loss.
